Chief Creative Officer
Mike goes by many names in the Roger West office. “Bro” and “Trocke” top the list, but never “Michael.” As Chief Creative Officer, Mike leads the Roger West art department and a growing team of designers, developers and designer-developers who work together to deliver results-driven digital, print and multi-media assets.
A multiple award-winning (yet delightfully humble) creative, Mike has more than 25 years of experience in brand development, graphic design, digital marketing and creative direction across multiple industries and organizations. Known for his ability to balance sophisticated design with seamless functionality, Mike provides guidance and oversight on all campaigns, websites and other creative to ensure clients receive high-quality branded assets, delivered on-time and on-budget.
Whether traditional print, digital media or UX, you can count on Mike to view and produce every deliverable through a critical lens of brand engagement and business ROI. Prior to joining the Roger West team in 2012, he served as both art director and creative director at many well-known marketing agencies.
A man of mystery and culinary delights, those who seek Mike can find him in “the cave,” a back-office that houses the creative core of Roger West. A purveyor of Star Wars memorabilia, Mike is a proud Gator with a degree in graphic design and smack-talking FSU. If you’re looking to befriend the ever-elusive Trocke, always use sufficient padding and never speak ill of Waffle House.
You can only be young once. But you can always be immature.”
