As Roger West’s longest serving team member, developer Chris Aybar joined founder Mike Westafer in 2008 as IT Director, adding the “code” to Roger West. Now the agency’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), he brings 25+ years of experience in programming, development and IT Services to help clients build robust websites, web applications, systems integrations and UX.
Chris is Roger West’s secret weapon when it comes to implementing custom-coded solutions, countless open-source content management systems – or any other technical challenge you give him. He leads Roger West’s growing team of developers and frequently works one-on-one with clients at all levels of engagement to identify needs and recommend technical solutions for their websites, custom applications and user interfaces.
With a deep understanding of digital marketing, Chris has a keen ability to blend innovative technological solutions and creativity to make the marketer’s life easier. His toolbelt includes custom modules for commercial and open-source content management systems such as Concrete 5, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, Joomla, Sitefinity and WordPress, and shopping cart systems like AbleCommerce, Interspire and Shopify.
Chris is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Certified Sitefinity Developer and a proficient PHP developer with professional-level experience in several programming languages to assist clients with a robust array of development projects.
