Roger West Named a Finalist for Tampa Bay Chamber Small Business of the Year Award

Roger West Creative & Code, a full-service digital marketing agency, was named a finalist for the 41st Annual Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award. More than 400 Tampa Bay area businesses were nominated for the honor, with finalists selected in one of four categories based on employee headcount. Roger West was one of five finalists in the 5-20 employees category.

“It was a huge honor just to be nominated in the first place,” said Roger West CEO and founder Michael Westafer. “To then make it through the six-month consideration process and be named a finalist is pretty incredible.”

Founded in 1885, the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce recognizes the area’s best small businesses each year as part of its ongoing efforts to promote development and innovation throughout Tampa Bay. After being nominated and selected as a semi-finalist, each business undergoes a rigorous evaluation of their history and values, business strategy, management profile, commitment to innovation, and community involvement.

This is the first time Roger West, which celebrated its 14th anniversary this year, was both nominated and then chosen as a finalist for the prestigious award. The agency was recently named a Tampa Bay Business Journal Best Place to Work for the third year in a row and was one of just six Tampa-based businesses to make Inc. magazine’s 2021 Best Workplaces list.
