March 06, 2017

Roger West’s work with PDQ honored for the best in website creativity, design, user experience, functionality and overall presentation

TAMPA, FLORIDA—February 28, 2017—Roger West today announced that the PDQ website (eatpdq.com), designed and built by the digital marketing agency has been named a 2016 Progress® Sitefinity™ Website of the Year winner in the Food and Beverages category. Since its inception in 2011, the Website of the Year awards have been recognizing Progress Sitefinity-powered websites for creativity, design, user experience, functionality and overall website presentation.

Roger West worked with PDQ to incorporate their brand into a responsive website featuring evocative food imagery, interactive and downloadable menus, a location finder and more. The site, built within Sitefinity CMS, allows PDQ to easily add or edit news posts, community events, special promotions and more. See our case study.

“Congratulations to PDQ on this terrific achievement,” said Kimberly King, Vice President, Global Partners and Channels, Progress. “Without exception, all of the winning companies have proven their dedication to creating a sophisticated and engaging web presence with the help of Progress Sitefinity CMS.”

Beloved throughout the Southeast and now beyond for its hand-breaded chicken tenders, PDQ crafts delicious salads, sandwiches, and hand-spun milkshakes fresh in store, every day. PDQ is committed to creating deep roots in its local communities and gives thousands of dollars to local charities, schools, and organizations in need every year.

Mike Westafer, CEO and Founder of Roger West said, “We are honored to receive this award from our partners at Progress. We chose Sitefinity because it is an exceptional product that meets PDQ’s evolving needs, and we’re happy to see PDQ getting the recognition they deserve. We’re proud to have been involved in this project.”

More information about the contest and the winners is available on the “Website of the Year” page.
