Roger West Named to TBBJ’s Best Places to Work Honor Roll for Third Consecutive Year

Roger West Creative & Code has been named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2021 list of Best Places to Work for the third consecutive year.
Roger West was 11th in 2019 and 12th in 2020. The rankings for the newest list will be revealed in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s weekly edition on April 23, and the honorees will be recognized during a virtual event on April 22.
Sixty companies in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Sarasota and Polk counties made the list. Inclusion is based on the results of an anonymous survey of the employees of nominated companies. The 60 companies are categorized by size: small (10-24 employees), medium (25-49), large (50-99) and extra large (100 or more).
Roger West is in the small business category.
“It’s a great feeling and a wonderful honor to be included on this list once again,” said Roger West CEO Michael Westafer, who founded the company in 2007. “It’s especially rewarding to know that it’s based on what our team members think about Roger West. We’ve always tried to make this a place where people are excited to come to work.”
According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal, the Quantum Workforce employee survey measures key indicators such as:

- Alignment with goals
- Trust with co-workers
- Individual contribution
- Manager effectiveness
- Trust in senior leaders
- Feeling valued
- Work engagement
- People practices
Roger West’s inclusion on this year’s Best Places to Work list continues a run of outside recognition for the Tampa-based digital agency.
In 2020, Roger West was included on the Business Journal’s Tampa Bay Fast 50 list for the second consecutive time, jumping to No. 7 from No. 48 in 2019. Roger West also made its debut on the 2020 Inc. 5000 list of the nation’s fast-growing private companies, checking in at No. 1,480.
