Tampa, Florida – October 22, 2014 – Roger West Creative & Code, a digital agency based in Tampa, Florida, has recently received a Silver Davey Award from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts for their work on their responsive web site, www.rogerwest.com. The Davey Awards recognize outstanding web sites, web marketing, web video, mobile sites/apps, social content and other creative work created by the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.
In April 2014, Roger West launched a new brand image and responsive website, for which the Davey award was earned. The new website features a digital marketing portfolio with the agency’s other award-winning creative work and a digital marketing blog with practical advice for marketing professionals.
The Davey award recognizes the combined effort of Michael Trocke as Creative Director, Joe Godbee as Senior Interactive Designer, and Shanna Kurpe as Director of Marketing and web copywriter.
“Again, I am very proud of my creative team at Roger West for receiving this international recognition,” says Michael Westafer, CEO of Roger West. “It honors their high-level of creativity and dedication to web excellence.”
The digital agency has also been recognized for their creativity and innovation by other organizations, such as MarketingSherpa, the American Advertising Federation and Microsoft, among others.
About the Davey Awards
The Davey Awards exclusively honor the “Davids” of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock - the sort of thing small firms do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. The Davey Awards is the leading awards competition specifically for smaller firms, where firms compete with their peers to win the recognition they deserve. Please visit www.daveyawards.com for more information.
The Davey Awards is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a "Who's Who" of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms. Please visit www.aiva.org for a full member list and additional information.
