Summit, a fast-growing cloud hosting provider, enlisted the expertise of Roger West’s brand and development teams to implement new brand messaging, redesign its logo and visual look, and launch a dynamic, content managed website that showcased the company’s evolving service offerings.

Since its formation in 2017 following the merger of two successful application hosting companies, Summit has grown steadily in terms of customers and capabilities. Following the most recent round of acquisitions, the company’s leadership realized that their brand and website no longer represented the true nature of the business or where they wanted to be in the future. In order to land the enterprise-level customers the company was now capable of serving, it would need to update its visual look and messaging with a dynamic, mobile-responsive website designed to maximize user engagement.

The Solution

Reimagining the Summit brand got underway with the creation of a new logo design that symbolized the company’s commitment to reaching new heights. A new color palette featuring dynamic gradients was also adopted to help the redesigned brand stand out from competitors. As the new look was developed, the Roger West content team worked closely with Summit to redefine the company’s service offerings and create a unique brand voice that aligned with their culture and mission.

Website development took place alongside the branding work, building a connection between the two that placed Summit’s elevation at the forefront of every decision. Once the new designs and content were completed, the dev team built out the new, mobile-optimized site in an easy-to-manage WordPress environment. The new site featured intuitive navigation elements to encourage visitors to explore multiple pages or jump directly to the information they needed. Lead-gen forms were integrated throughout the site.

As the new website moved closer to completion, the Roger West paid media team took a close look at existing campaigns to optimize performance and lead tracking. A series of landing pages were quickly built and deployed to support campaigns focused on key service offerings. The changes not only allowed Summit to target customers more effectively, but also provided much-needed performance data to enable future optimizations and adjustments.

To roll out the new branding and website internally, the Roger West design team created a dynamic presentation that the Summit leadership team could share with management and board members. Roger West partnered with the video experts at Digital Brew to produce a short video introducing the new logo. The video would go on to be featured in both the presentation and Summit’s social media announcements when the new site launched.
